Ethan and Hayley Newcome team up to run Newcom Auto Repair together

(March 25, 2019) — Husband and wife duo Ethan and Haley Newcome balance marriage and business by working together at Newcome Auto Repair.
Ethan Newcome started out in the world of mechanics at the age of 16 when he job shadowed at the Punxsy Auto Clinic. He said he was always interested in mechanical things, even as a child.
Newcome said that he learned many things from his time at the Punxsy Auto Clinic, from the right way of working on vehicles to having an honest business plan.
"They had a very good business perspective on people," Newcome said.
The idea for Newcome Auto Repair materialized after Newcome graduated from high school. Newcome said that he had a desire to branch out on his own and open his own business doing what he loved.
Newcome's Auto Repair materialized in one year, turning something from nothing.
"It was just a field before. This property has been in his family for four generations. It was his great-grandfather’s and then it was passed down. That’s why we wanted to do it here," Haley Newcome said.
The Newcomes said that both of their families have been helpful in the endeavor.
